Tired of boring rice? Try adding your favourite Rick’s Rub seasoning, like this recipe for fresh and fragrant rice pilaf!
INGREDIENTS:
½ tsp Rick’s Rub Lamb seasoning
3 cups uncooked rice
Water
METHOD:
- Rinse uncooked rice to remove any dust or excess starch in cool running water.
- Put rice in pot or steamer with water, as per manufacturer’s instructions, and gently stir in ½ tsp Rick’s Rub Lamb seasoning. NOTE: some herbs will naturally float on top of the water
- Once rice is cooked, stir with a fork to fluff up the rice and mix the spices in evenly
Serve immediately. Also try adding your favourite dried fruit for more flavour. Try currants, raisins, cranberries, or pineapple.
