INGREDIENTS:
2lb oven roast beef
2 tsp Rick’s Rub Original seasoning
METHOD:
- Preheat oven to 450F to oven-sear the roast
- Rub 2 tsp Rick’s Rub Original seasoning over whole roast, making sure to cover evenly
- Place roast in roasting pan into preheated oven for 10 mins
- Reduce heat to 275F and cook to desired doneness: 1 ¾ - 2 ¼ hours for medium rare and 2 to 2 ½ hours for medium to well done. Remove from the oven when 5F below finished temperature
- Cover and let stand for at least 15 mins. Carve into thin slices
Serve with roasted potatoes, gravy, and steamed carrots
